2 Kings 12
Joash (Jehoash) of Judah was crowned king at 7 at which time orders were given, probably by Jehoiada, for the temple to be repaired. However, when Joash was 30, the repairs were not yet being made. So they instituted a change in how the tithes and offerings were collected. This resulted in the funds being used to hire the workers to make the repairs.
