Ezekiel 15
God compares two objects from nature, a vine and the wood of a tree, and uses them to describe what He plans to do with the city of Jerusalem. Vines can’t really be used to construct anything, especially after they have been through a fire. There just isn’t enough substance to them to be useful after passing through the fire and are usually completely consumed.
