I’ve read a number of books on discipleship, most of which are promoting a particular program or series of studies. That isn’t in and of itself wrong but a little short sighted. This book on the other hand puts discipleship where it is suppose to be happening, within the context of the local church. This is an excellent book that gives a good overview of what discipleship and discipling others is — doing spiritual good to help them follow Christ.
One quote that I’ll keep reminding myself of going forward.
“Christianity is personal, yes, always!–but never private.”
Definitely worth reading!
